Rangers September Monthly Report
Rangers Mainnet
This month, the mainnet has been running smoothly, with a total of 66.64 million blocks produced. The network continues to operate efficiently and securely.
Smart Contract Layer Development
One of the most exciting news from September would be the major upgrade on Virtual Machine. We will have more supported languages in coding smart contracts, approximately 10 times the efficiency.
Moreover, We are actively researching a new VM system supporting WASM. We aim to enhance future scalability and support diverse smart contracts.
• Virtual Machine Upgrade: The current progress is 10%. The team is actively working on upgrading the Virtual Machine (VM).
• WASM Support Research: Preliminary research on a new VM system supporting WASM has begun.
Node Management Platform
• Voting Tool: Front-end development is 100% complete, but the back-end and contract development not yet started. Overall progress stands at 30%.
Connector Manager
• Consensus Speed Optimization: By optimizing the consensus mechanism, we have successfully reduced the on-chain data consensus time from minutes to seconds. This work is 100% complete.
• Architecture Optimization:
• Task Priority System: We have introduced a task priority architecture to maintain stable block production speed under heavy load. Progress is 100%.
• Timeout Retry Queue: A timeout retry queue has been introduced to dynamically adjust on-chain data consensus processing based on load, with progress at 100%.
Rangers Cross-Chain Bridge
• Solana<>Mantle Cross-Chain Bridge: This bridge is now live on Rangers mainnet, 100% complete, providing users with a stable cross-chain transaction experience.
• Rangers<>Kaia Cross-Chain Bridge: This bridge is now live on Robin testnet, 100% complete, providing testnet users with a stable cross-chain transaction experience.
• New UI/UE for the Cross-Chain Bridge: The updated user interface and experience optimizations are 90% complete.
• Mobile Version: Mobile version development is complete and currently in testing and optimization, with a progress of 30%.
• PC Version: Development of the PC version is progressing well, with 90% completion.
• Solana<>TON Cross-Chain Bridge: This bridge is also live on Rangers mainnet, with 100% completion.
This month, the project has made significant progress in several key areas. With stable functionality on the mainnet and cross-chain bridge, development efforts continue to move forward, and future focus will remain on enhancing network performance and user experience.
